Did a ten k cross country ski session in the vercors on Sunday, it was really hard. So far I have only skied down in the valley. I found out how hard it can get this weekend when I climbed up into the mountain. There is a 2K ski uphill before you even get to the beginning of the ski area. That was hard enough! I am not your typical build for a x-country skier, so I find it really hard (I weigh 105 kilos, qo it's fair to say that gravity is working against me!) Still its great exercise and hopefully it will enable me to keep fit so that when I can really start putting in the miles on my bike, I will at least be fit.
